unit 19 task 4b

This was the assignment I enjoyed most doing because I love graphic design and we were free to come up with our own ideas. I learned how to give a large audience what they want especially that the simplest concepts are the ones that work most especially if you manage to balance simplicity and creativity together. People liked my animated banners probably it is because only two of us did that so they liked it that it was something different.  The banners where a little challenge for me since I had to stick with the mediacast logo which wasn’t very suitable for the ideas I was coming up with but at the end I managed to arrange as I could and still get results that I liked.

brush tool vs pen tool

this time I drew the same thing but by drawing free hand with the brush tool, I am much more satisfied wit this result than the one I made using the pen tool.

photoshop practice

today in our photoshop lesson we had to create a photo montage.
our teacher told us to try and put a picture in a frame on a wallpaper , but I wanted to try and take it to the next level.So this is what I did.

this is an advert for a game. this game isn't one which will appeal for its graphics but instead has a very retro style  and has the perfect advert for the targeted audience



they made an advert which looks like it is from the 90s.they lowered the colour quality and also added those vhs like lines at the bottom. But especially its the weird visuals which were used a lot in those days to advertise games and also the voice over talks and sounds exactly the same.

DESIGN

created a looping background

made this in photoshop.

drew the dog once and copy and pasted it.

for the loop to look good I used the ruler tool and snapped the images making sure one side ends where the other side starts

 then started thinking of ideas for the banner and this is the one I liked most

uploaded it and was not satisfied with that background
tried different colours a bunch of times until I  got the result which I found appealing

This is one of the greatest in my opinion. Has a great colour scheme and filled funny adverts that have a twist at the end.

OLD SPICE

I really like this advert mostly because I find it funny and also because of the editing. Its a simple but great idea , in fact this did a huge hit on youtube.
